בכל נשימה ונשימה,
בכאב ובעונג,
הכל ניסיון התמודדות עם הבשר שסביבי.
בהביטי במראה, עירום ועריה ובוחן את הלבוש הזה שמגדיר אותי,
שהוא נטל עלי
וכבד עלי
ומענג אותי על כאב.
שוב ושוב אני חוקר את הדבק שמחבר אותי אליו.
With every breath,
in pain and in pleasure,
it is all an attempt to cope with the flesh surrounding me.
As I gaze into the mirror, naked and bare, examining this garment that defines me—
a burden upon me,
heavy upon me,
and one that delights me through pain.
Again and again, I explore the glue that binds me to it.
